The cake assumes a cylindrical shape, as it has a circular base and some height. Cut the cake such that the cut is parallel to its base, forming two cylindrical sections, one on top of the other. Cut each cylinder into 4 pieces like pieslices, which will require only two cuts if you cut it keeping one cylinder above the other.

Assume the three-dimensional axes passing exactly through the center of the cake. Thne three cuts, one each along the XY-plane, YZ-plane and XZ-plane, will result in 8 pieces, one each in either of the 8 octants.

Cut the cake using three mutually perpendicular planes. It leaves 8 pieces, one each in each octant.

first cut the cake horizontally in center of the cake becomes into two halves and now you make two cuts so that the top piece of the cake becomes into four pieces and we know that of course the lower piece will becomes into another four pieces and total it is eight pieces with 3 cuts

first cut the cake on middle, now it is divided into two parts,now put both parts together one above the other and cut again and repeat again this will divided into 8 parts by three cuts only.

first 2 cuts as diagonally.... u wil get 4 piece after dat cut an small circle in side big circle of cake.... 3 cut 8 pieces....

here it is not mentined that lines should be linear or curved so we can use either curved or linear lines also.
solution is:-
divide the cake into by a horizontal (linear) cut and then make two vertical curves on both sides of cake.
or in simpler way make the equations and solve it
1. 2.5+2.5+3=8
-three numbers are in equation so, three cuts will surely make 8.
2. 3+3+2=8
-again three numbers are in equation so three cuts will surely make 8.
using equation 2 we can cu the cake as divide cake into 2 and then using two curved lines, divide the remaining cake into 3+3 pieces having one part in common to both curved lines.

first 2^3=8 so first cut divide cake in 2 parts then put two pieces on each other then cut we get 4 parts then put all one on each other and cut we get 8 parts ...
