C.P = (100/(100-L%))*S.P
C.P of 32 books is,
32C.P = (100/(100-40))*100
32C.P=(100/60)*100
C.P=(100*100)/(60*32)
C.P=125/24------------------(1)
C.P = (100/(100+G%))*S.P
C.P of x Books is,
x C.P= (100/(100+20))*100
x C.P=(100/120)*100
C.P=(100*100)/120x
C.P=250/3x-------------------(2)
From (1)&(2),
125/24 = 250/3x
3x = 250*24/125
3x = 48
x = 16
16 books

c.p.=(100/60)*100/32
=125/24
now new s.p.=(120/100)125/25
s.p. of 1 book =25/4
? book in 100
books=100*4/25
16 book

since he get 1920/- by selling 32 books on 60/-prize(40% of 100)
therefore he has to sell 16 books 4 getting same amount i.e. 1920/120=16
so ans is 16

cp of 1 book=((100/60)*100)/32=250/32.....(i)
let he sell x books at sp of 100...so cp of 1 books=((100/120)*100)/x..(ii)
(i)=(ii)
250/32=250x/3
so x=32/3...so approx 10 books...

0.6x=100/32
1.2x=! ==2*100/32=100/16
so he need to sell 16 books
