the probability of getting one die shows six are (1,6),(2,6),(3,6),(4,6),(5,6),(6,1),(6,2),(6,3),(6,4),(6,5)
=10/36=5/18

"EXACTLY"one means only one of the 2 dice shows 6 and the other die shows a no. other than 6, therefore, prob of getting 6 in 1st die * prob of getting no. other then 6 in 2nd die + prob of getting no. other then 6 in 1st die * prob of getting 6 in 2nd die. ans: 1/6 * 5/6 + 5/6 * 1/6

the two dice are thrown,then
the probability of getting exactly one dice six is,(probability of getting six in one die)*(probability of getting six in another die)
(1/6)*(1/6)=2/36=1/18
so the probablity of getting one dice shows six is 1/18.
