The number of parallelograms formed =
(no. of ways of choosing 2|| lines from the set of 6 || lines)*(no. of ways of choosing 2|| lines from the set of 5 || lines)

Now,clearly,
no. of ways of choosing 2|| lines from the set of 6 || lines =6C2 = 15
no. of ways of choosing 2|| lines from the set of 5 || lines =5C2 = 10

So,thee number of parallelograms formed = 15*10 = 150

So,150 parallelograms will be formed.

6 parallel lines are cut with another 5 parallel lines,
no. of parallelograms formed=(6-1)*(5-1)
= 20
