x takes 4 days to complete 1/3 rd of the job so
x's work per day is 1/12 and for 3 days =1/4
similarly
y's work per day is 1/18 and for 3 days =1/6
z's work per day is 1/10 and for 3 days =3/10

if all work together their 3 days work=1/4 + 1/6 + 3/10
=(15+10+18)/60 =43/60 work is done
remaining work=1-(43/60)=17/60
for 17/60 th work y takes (17/60)*18= 5.1 days...
[ since y's work per day is 1/18 so y completes the total work in 18 days]

so the answer is 5.1 days...

Y will take another 5.1 days to complete the work

if the options dont have 5.1, then its 6 days!

x's 1day work = 1/12
y's 1days work = 1/18
z's 1 day work = 1/10
x+y+z's work in 1 day=1/12+1/18+1/10=43/180.
for three days=43*3/180=43/60.
left over work=17/60.
now wen y has to finish 17/60 of work alone.
and since y's 1 day work is 1/18,
(1/18)*x=17/60.where x is the no. of days to finish the work by y alone.
hence x=5.1 days
