n(n+1)/2 = 50*51/2 = 1275
1275-(x+x+1)/48 = 105/4
x = 7
Two consecutive no. are 7,8
Ans= 50

let choose from option:
take 50 as the ans
1,2,3,....50
sum= n(n+1)/2

50x51/2= 1275

if two consecutive no. are removed then
(1275-(x + x+1))/48=105/4
x=7
x+1=8
So, no. removed are 7 and 8. The correct option is 50.

Choosing other option gives you answer decimal point. Hence 50 is correct answer
