let initaily radius be r
aftr incremnt it be R
aftr 50% incremnt in circumfrnc...
2*3.14*R=1.5*2*3.14*r
R=1.5r
% change in area=(3.14*R*R-3.14r*r)/3.14*r*r
put R=1.5r
requrd % chnge in area is=125%

C=pi*r
=> 50 % increase in C => 50% increase in r => new r = r+r/2 = 3/2r .
so
A'/A= [(r3/2)^2]/r
=> A'/A = 9/4
=> (A'-A)/A = 9/4 - 1
=> (A'-A)/A * 100= 5/4 *100 multiplying boths side by 100
=> (A'-A)/A * 100= 125
=> net % increase in area = 125%
so area increase can be calculated

As we know circumference is directly proportional to radius(r) of the circle.
let, Radius be r cm.
Increased radius =r * 150/100=3r/2 cm
Increased in area= pi{(9r^2/4)-r^2}.
=pi(5r^2)/2 sq. cm
