g+m paint 36 boxes in 1 day
m+h paint 30 boxes in 1 day
h+g paint 48 boxes in 1 day
m+g+h paint 114/2=57 boxes in 1 day.
h paints 57-36=21 boxes in 1 day, g paints 57-30 =27 boxes in 1 day, m paints 57-48=9 boxes in 1 day.
g works for 4 days (108 boxes),m for 8 days (72 boxes),h for 8 days (168 boxes)
total 348 boxes

why because ,2(g+m+h)=19/120;
g+m+h=19/240*720 boxes=57.

g+m---->720---->20
m+h---->720---->24
h+g---->720---->15
--------------------
2(m+g+h)---->2160---->59
(m+g+h)----->1080---->59
givein days(4+8+8)=20
so no of boxes painted by them=(1080/59)*20=366.10=366

this question requires option for fast answering.
first calculate number of boxes made in 1 day for all given pairs.
now sum up it would be 2(g+m+h)=114.
hence boxes made by G+M+H in one day=57.
now first calculate for 4 days work 4*GMH=228
now G leaves but still calculate 8*GMH=456
go through and select value between 228 and 456

given
1/g+1/m=1/20---------------------(1)
1/m+1/h=1/24---------------------(2)
1/h+1/g=1/15---------------------(3)
now g's 1 day work=1/2*((1)+(3)-(2))
so,1/g=3/80;
now m's 1 day work=1/2*((1)+(2)-(3))
so,1/g=1/80;
now h's 1 day work=1/2*((2)+(3)-(1))
so,1/g=7/240;
if g completes 720 box in80/3 days in 4 days it will paint 102 box
if m completes 720 box in80 days in 8 days it will paint 72 box
if h completes 720 box in240/7 days in 8 days it will paint 168 box
therefore total no of boxes painted=168+72+102=342

its simple...
Considering work done by people in 1 day...
g+m=(720/20)=36
m+h=(720/24)=30
h+g=(720/15)=48

so m+g+h=57 ........(i)
Now,
considering total no of boxes painted by them is X.
work done by m in 1 day=>X/4 ....(ii)(since 4 days are given for g to work)
work done by g in 1 day=>X/8 ....(iii)
work done by h in 1 day=>X/8 ....(iv)

so (X/4)+(X/8)+(X/8)=57 from eq.(i ii iii iv)
sove for x...
X=114
