dist. traveeld by A = 40x (let x be the time taken to meet)
dist travelld by B = 60x
difference in dist = 20x = 120; which gives x=6hours
so relative speed of A and B is 100km/hr.
distance travlld = 6*100 = 600km.

Let, t is take taken to meet each other.
Distance travelled by A=60t Km
Distance travelled by B=40t km
now, 60t-40t=120
=>t=6 hour
Total distance=60*6+40*6=600 Km

AFTER 6 HRS DIFFERENCE IN DISTANCE IS 120KM
SO TOTAL DISTANCE IS 240+360=600KM

let the distance traveled by A be = D
then acc to question the distance traveled by B is = D+120
now since the ratio of there speed is 2:3 which is the same for distance covered by each of them..
as speed is directly proportional to distance ,
2/3=d/d+120
d= 240
and total distance is d+d+120 = 240 +240+120 =600kms

B will travel (60-40)=20 km more than A if distance bw them is 100 km. so, B will travel 120 km more than B if distance is 600km.
