that also not right as 3 is repeating 2 times..
ans should be:
9+8+7+5+2=31, so option 'c' is right choice.
am i correct?

FG is as large as possible and all the 7 numbers should be different.
Let’s try out a few possibilities..
9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 5 = 35…5 is getting repeated twice.
9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 4 = 34…4 is getting repeated
9 + 8 + 7 + 5 + 4 = 33…3 repeats


9 + 8 + 6 + 5 + 4 = 32
None of the numbers repeat in the above case and 32 is the maximum number FG can have. The value of G is 2.

so, value of G=1.

i think its 3...
9+8+7+6+5=35
but as question states a,b,c,d,e,f,g are all dissimlar so...
it must be..
9+8+7+5+4=33....so all digits are unique

guyss ....in ques they asked find the max possible such that
9 + 8 + 6 + 5 + 4 = 32 G value is 2 not 1..
9+8+7+5+2=31..here 31 is smaller than 32 ..but we have 2 find max value ......so no answer for abve que ..right answer is 2

FG is as large as possible and a,b,c,d,e represent different digit so to get large no we take largest single digit
9+8+7+6+5=35
now 35=10F+G (should be a 2 digit no)
so f should b 3 this make g=5
35=10*3+5
35=35
right??
