a and b starts from their house at 10am. they travek from their house on MG road at 20kmph and 40kmph. they meet at T junction at 12:00 pm B reaches the T junction earlier and turns right .Both of them continue travelling till 2:00pm what is distance between a& b at 2:00pm?

a reaches the junction at 12 after travelling 40 km
but b reaches junction at 11 after travelling 40 km.
at 2 am. a will travel 40 km from junction
at 2 am. b will travel for 3 hrs that is 120 km from junction so it travel 10 km.
distance between them is 120 +40=160 km

It is given that at 12:00 pm , they meet at T junction.

After that they travel for 2 hours.

Here, 2 conditions arises.....
1st condition : Both A & B travel in same direction.
2nd condition : Both A & B travel in different direction.

According to 1st condition,

The distance between A & B = 80-40=40 km

According to 2nd condition,

The distance between A & B =80+40=120

but after reachd at junction B turns right while A not
so i thnk A'll go straight and cover distance 20*2=40 km
and B turns right and cover 80 km
so acc to me distance should be root(40^2+80^2)

Distnace between House and T junction = 20 x 2 = 40.
ie., B reached T at 11 am.
B continued to right after 11 am and travelled upto 2. So distance covered by him = 3 x 40 = 120
A reached T at 12 noon and travelled upto 2 So distanced travelled by him = 2 x 20 = 40
So total distance between them = 120 + 40 = 160 km

know one goes straight t junction they r going oposite direction

at 2 pm. a would be 40 km from the junction, and b would be 120 kms from junction as said by @ SHANU JAIN
but distance between them should be 120-40=80 kms as both are travelling in same direction

let H be starting point and T ending point
after 2 hrs A reaches T ie distance = 20*2=40km(H to T)
we can crosscheck this as b takes 40km/hr to reach T and offcourse earlier than a.
again at 2 pm both reaches at another point say Q in another 2 hours
therefore b takes 2 hours more to reach Q
therefore distance between H and Q is 40*3=120km

the speed of a=20kmph
the speed of b=40kmph
they meet at t junctin with in 2 hrs means
distanc by a=20/2=10
distance by b=40/2=20
so total distance=30
so at 2'o clk the distance bvn them is=30

ldng(eai) cons and vowels are seperated...tot 5 lr ie)5!=120. then vowel can take the form of 3!=6... multi 120*6=720

a travels 40 kms at 12pm
b travels juntion t at 11am thats he travels 40kms
and turns write travels 120 kms till 2 pm
a travels 40 kms at 2 pm
by pithogorous theorem sqrt(120^2+40^2)=126.49kms
