1...For a line to bisect a rectangle as it has to divide it into two parts, it must pass through the center of the rectangle..
-> The line which bisects which rectangles must pass through the centers of both the rectangles

Center 1: (-1 , 2) ... Center 2: (3, 6)

Slope = (6-2)/(3+1) = 4/4 = 1

plot both the rectangles....the slope is =tan^-1 (2/2)=45 deg
