both together 1day work=1/6+1/8=7/24
2 days work=2*7/24=14/24
remaining work=1-14/24=5/12
so jogesh work =5/12*8=10/3

Now the LCM of 6,8 is 24.
so total work is 24 unit.
now rajiv complet in one day no of unit is 24/6=4 unit.
now jogesh complet in one day no of unit is 24/8=3 unit.
so both one day work is 4+3=7 unit.
so 2 days work is 2*7=14 unit.
means remaing unit is 10 unit.
if jogesh done 3 unit task in one day.
to total no of day is to complet 10 unit task is 10/3 days

rajiv's 1day work=1/6
jogesh's 1day work=1/8
then take the LCM of 6,8 i.e 24.
then total work is 24units
so no.of units done by rajiv and jogesh are 4,3 respectively.
from the problem we can get that they worked together 2days..then 2(4+3)=14
then units of work left 10...so jogesh can complete it in 3.3days..
