There are two container. The volume of the second container is twice than the first. Half of the first cont. is filled with Wine & The one quarter of the second container is filled with wine. Now the remaining of the both container is filled with water. There is a third container which is enough to have the total liquid of the first two containers. What will be the ratio of the total volume and wine of the third container? Answer will be 1:3

consider A(first container)=100 for A wine filled half 100/2= 50
consider B(second container)=200 for B wine filled 1/4(200)=50
this two container mixed in 3rd container let as C=300
the ratio of wine to the volume of C is 100/300=1/3(1:3)

3:1 suppose first container volume x & second y then y=2x,also wine containt in first =x/2 so water contents is x/2...now wine content in second is y/4 or x/2 & water content is 3y/4 or 3x/2 so total content of wine =x & total volume is 3x
so ratio of total volume to wine content is 3:1

answer is 3:1 because suppose 1st container contain x volume so it contain x/2 wine in similar manner 2nd container conatains 2x volume so it contain x/2 wine
so 3rd container contain 3x volume and contain x wine so ratio of total volume/wine volume 3x/x=3:1

answer will be 1:3(500ml+500ml)/(500ml+1500ml)=1/3
but correct question is ratio of total wine to total water in 3rd container
