If cp is rs x, then
1.07x - 0.975x = 100
x= 100/0.095= Rs 1052.6
For 12% gain,
sp = 1.12*100*1000/95 = Rs 1179

so none of given options is correct.

There may be some mistake in given data. In first case, if loss is 3%, then cp is Rs 1000 and final sp will be Rs 1120.

sp= more rupees(100+%final gain)/ %gain+%loss
100(112)/7+2.5 = 1178.94 ans
