A no is divisible by 8 if its last three no's are divisible by 8.

Hence in a 4 digit no Say ABCD if BCD is Divisible by 8 then ABCD is also Div by 8

So Total no of possibility of 4 digit no which are to be considered

=1000 (i.e A000-A999)

Total Cases(Favourable) Divisible by 8 = 1000/8 =125

Hence Probability = 125/1000
= 1/8.

Sample space= 9000
No. of favourable events= 1125
so ans= 1125/9000
=> 1/8
