d+i=m+46
From above m=14
d-60/100d=i ie 2/5d=i
therefore; from above
d+i=60
d+2/5d=60
d=42.9

from 1 x+46+x=74

2x=28
x=14

now

let d=y
i is 60 % less than d

there fore i =40y/100

d+i=x+46

x=14
d=y
i=40y/100

substitute ol value y=43 approx

Solving these eq we get D=10,I=4 & M=60

Given m+d+i=74----------------------------------(1)
d+i+46=m==>>d+i=m-46----------------------(2)
i=0.4d----------------------------(3)
solving 1 and 2 results in the value of m=60
sub m=60 in 1 we get d+i=14------(4)
solving 3 and 4 gives d=10 and i=4

m + d + i = 74 ------------ (1)
d + i = m + 46 ------------ (2)
putting value of d + i from equation 2 in equation 1
=>m + m + 46 = 74
=>2m = 28
=>m = 14
According to question
d - (d*60/100) = i
=>d - (3d/5) = i
=>5d-3d = 5i
=>2d = 5i
=> i = 2d/5 -------- 3

putting value of i and m in equation 2
d + 2d/5 = 46 + 14
7d = 60 * 5 = 300
d = 300/7 = 42.85

Solving,
D + 0.4D=M+46
1.4D=M+46.....(1)

M+D+0.4D=74
M+1.4D=74........(2)

adding (1) and (2)
2.8D=46+74
Hence, D=120/2.8

I=0.4D
Solving these eq we get D=85.7

I=D(1-60%)= 0.4D ...3

Putting value of I by EQ 3 in EQ 1

We get
M+1.4D=74 ...4

& in EQ 2

We get
1.4D-M=46 ...5

On Adding eq 4&5 we get
D=50.

M = D + I + 46
I = 410 D
74 - D - I = D + I + 46
74 - D - 410 D = D + 410 D + 46
⇒ D = 10

FROM EQN 1 & 2
2(D+I)=120
D+I=60 ----------(EQN 3)

ALSO
I=D-(D*6)/10
=>I=7D/5 (PUT THIS IN EQM 3)
WE GET
D=42.8
