by taking alternating series
4.2*2=8.4 , 8.4*2=16.8......
26.0*2=52 , 52.0*2=104..

secound is 4.2,8.4,16.8,?
third one is 26,52,104,...

so, 4.2*2=8.4,
8.4*2=16.8,
16.8*2=33.6
answer is 33.6

first simply the terms by removing points.. 26.0 -> 26
52.0 -> 52
Now you will understand the similar terms in the series..and try checking with all the terms alternatively u will get the answer..
8.9 * 2 = 17.8
17.8 * 2 = 35.6

Now multiply 4.2*2=8.4
26.0*2=52.0...........
