12 in base 10=(10*1+2)
25 in base 10=(10*2+5)

similarly,

12 in base 7=(b*1+2)&
25 in base 7=(b*2+5)

now 333 in base 10=(10*10*3+10*3+3)
333 in base 7=(b*b*3+b*3+3)

so,(b*b*3+b*3+3)=(b*2+5)+(b*1+2)
solve
answer will be 7.

Normally (in base 10) : 12*25=300
But it is given that 12*25=333
It means base will be definitely less than 10
So Check for options near 7 and
you will find it that 7 is the correct answer.

12 in base 10=(10*1+2)
25 in base 10=(10*2+5)

similarly,
12 in base e=(e*1+2)&
25 in base e=(e*2+5)

now 333 base 10=(10*10*3+10*3+3)
then 333 base e =(e*e*3+e*3+3)

so,(e*e*3+e*3+3)=(e*2+5)*(e*1+2)
by soving this we get e=7.

Ans will be 7
in case of base 7
7 is represent as (7*1+0)=0
8 ,, ,, ,, (7*1+1)=1
10 ,, ,, ,, (7*1+3)=3
..........................
13 ,, ,, ,, 6
14 ,, ,, ,, 0

so, 12
25 => 60
24
.......
333
333 as 2*5=10 for 0 its 3 again 6+4=10 for 0 its 3 and 1+2 = 3 for rest

12 in base 7= 9 in base 10.
25 in base 7 = 19 in base 10.
333 in base 7 = 171 in base 10.

9*19=171
