18.23,18.2,18.....decreasing order
so now in increasing order 73.09,73.1,74..
so answer is 73.1

and 41.5 round off to 42

18.23 -> 18.2 -> 18
73.09 -> 73.1 -> 73

18.23-18.2=.03,18.2-18=.2,
73.09-73.08=.01
ans=73.08

For the next three numbers, the successive number is the previous number minus the previous lowest significant digit (18.23 - 0.03 = 18.2) (18.2 - 0.2 = 18)
So if the pattern is alternating between those two patterns, the next number would be (73.09 + 0.09 = 73.18)
If the pattern stays with subtraction, then 73 (73.09 - 0.09 = 73)

x=73.18

41.5+0.5=42

now decreasing
18.23-0.03=18.2
18.2-0.2=18

now increasing
73.09+0.01=73.1
73.1+0.9=74

so the next terms are 73.1, 74
