7-3=4; 4*(3/2)=6 ;
6-3=3; 3*(3/2)=4.5;
4.5-3=1.5; 1.5*(3/2)=2.25;
2.25-3=-0.75; -0.75*(3/2)= -1.125
Ans: -1.125 ;)

first series diff : 3, 3, 3, 3
second series diff : 2, 1.5, .75
so next will be .75/2=.375
so .375 will added to -.075 so next no will be : -0.375

7-6=1 1/2=.5+1=1.5
6-4.5=1.5 1.5/2=.75+1.5=2.25
4.5-2.25=2.25 2.25/2=1.125+2.25=3.375
2.25-(-1.125)=3.375

ANS- (-1.125)

@harish mukha u way is correct but u made silly mistake half of -0.75 is -0.32.5..so answer will be -0.75+(-0.32.5)=-1.125

There is a simple way to solve this problem, Don't make it complicated.
7-3=4
6-3=3
4.5-3=1.5
2.25-3=-.75

3-1.5=1.5
4.5-2.25=2.25
1.5-2.25=-0.75
????
2.25-3.25=-1.0
Ans:- -1.0

7-3=4, then keep the 4 aside and add half of 4 (i.e.,2) 4+2=6
6-3=3, then keep the 3 aside and add half of 3(i.e.,1.5) 3+1.5 =4.5
4.5-3=1.5, then keep the 1.5 aside and add half of 1.5(i.e.,0.75) 1.5+0.75 = 2.25
2.25-3=-0.75, then keep the -0.75 aside and add half of -0.75(i.e.,0.32.5) -0.75+0.32.5=0.42.5
