35 yrs

Age of son now= 10 yrs ; age of son after 11 yrs = 21 yrs
age of mother now= 10+17 = 27 yrs; age of mother after 11 yrs = 38 yrs

If age of father after 11 yrs is F, then
21 = (F+38)/4
F= 46 yrs
age of father now= 46-11= 35 yrs

aftr 11 years his age=21
age of mother after 11 years=10+17+11=38
a/q "after 11 years his age
will be half the average of his
parents"

therefore the equation becomes (38+x)/2=42
so x=46(i.e after 11 years)

and therefore the present age is 46-11=35years
