let B gets x% total votes.
So, C gets=(x+5)% of the total votes since C gets 5 percentage points more votes than B.
Hence, A gets=x%(150/100)= (1.5x)%
Thus, 1.5x+x+(x+5)=100
or, 3.5x=95
or, x=190/7%
A=285/7%,B=190/7%,C=225/7%
A gets=285*4,000=9,00,000
B gets =190*4,000=7,60,000
C gets =225*4,000=11,40,000
Total=28,00,000

If a,b,c are polls obtained by a,b,c respectively, then
a=1.5b = c+240000
total votes = 1.5b+b+1.5b-240000 = 4b-240000 = x (say)
(c/x- -b/x)*100=5

solving , we get
x=2800000
