height of all equilateral triangles should be 9/2.by using height formula we can compute side i.e
3* (3)^1/2

Hexagon made by 6 equilateral triangle.height of equilateral triangle=9/2=4.5
if x is the length of side of equilateral triangle then 4.5=sqrt3/2*x
so x=3*sqrt3
ans=6*3*sqrt3=18sqrt3

As the apothem(the radius of inscribed circle) of any hexagon is root3*side...

So the distance between the parallel sides should be 2*root3*side which is equal to 9..

Therefore...side will be 9/2*root3= 3root3/2

ans. is 9* sqrt 3.
bcz ( a * sqrt 3 ) = 4.5
a= (3*sqrt 3 )/2
length of hexagon = ( 6* 3 sqrt 3) / 2

Distance between || sides=9 which mean length of sides a =>sqrt(3)/2*a=9/2=>a=3*sqrt(3)=5.196

=> length of hexagon=6*a=6*5.196=31.177

Let length of each side be a. In the same diagram we have seen above, it can be observed that distance between parallel sides of a regular hexagon with side a
= 2 × height of the equilateral triangle with side a
=(2*root(3)*a)/2=root(3)
Using the above relation, we have
9 = root(3)*a where a is the length of each side
therefore, a=9/root(3)=3*root(3)
required length of hexagon=6a=6*3*root(3)=18*root(3)
so,answer is 18*root(3)
