Given B>A>C
SO the first 2 highest 2-digit numbers formed by these numbers are BA,BC...so BA-BC=5
Here if u think i simple logic you can simplify this equation easily. Here the number in 10th position is same for both the numbers i.e., B, So Whatever the number B is you get the ans which depend on the 1st digit So..That equation can be written as A-C=5 .............................(1)
(If you are still not clear just assume any 2 numbers which are having same number in 10th position like 24 21 or 55 50 )

the smalllest 2-digit numbers formed by these numbers will be CB,CA...so CB-CA=2
By simplifying , B-A=2................(2)
If we solve both the equations we will get B-C=7 so B value must be greater than 7..Answer is option D

diff b/w highest and the second highest two-digit numbers formed by using two of A,B and C is 5 so C can be either 2 or 1 and A can be either 7 or 6 respectively since 7-2=5 and 6-1-5 note that we could not take 5-0=0 as if we do so smallest two numbers will not be two digit then...
now the smallest two two-digit numbers differ by 2 so B and A could be either (8,6) or (9,7). so the two possible ans for this ques are
A=9, B=7, C=2
A=8, B=6, C=1
since 9 is not an option hence we will choose (d) 8

why pavani?...the value of b can be 7 also...if we do it then b=7,a=5,c=0 it also satisfying na? i may be wrong....

if you take c as zero, then what Will happen to cb-ca =2 ,it won't form a two digit number,Hence c must be atleast 1.

Given, BA-BC=5 and CB-CA=2
From above consider A-C=5----(1) & B-A=2----(2)
So,that we can say from condition (2)
i.e; 9-7=2|8-6=2|7-5=2|6-4=2|5-3=2|4-2=2|3-1=2|2-0=2|
but from condition (1)
If A=7 then 7-2=5
If A=6 then 6-1=5
If A=5 then 5-0=5 only these can satisfy the given two conditions
means (1)B=9,A=7,C=2;
(2)B=8,A=6,C=1;
(3)B=7,A=5,C=0;
In the above given Problem There is no option called B=9
So,now consider (2) and (3)
In (3) if C=0 then the condition CB-CA=2 will not satisfy and that means C should not be Zero
So,only Second option left Called
B=8,A=6,c=1
So,B=8 Answer is option D

It should nt be 7 KAUSTABH.K just take the values that you have given for A B and C
As you said If c=0,b=7 and a=5 the smallest 2 digit numbers formed are 07,05(CB,CA)
Those are not 2-digits right. So C must greater than 1
