letus take one man one day work 1/x then 60 men one day work60/x
for 10 days it will be 10*60/x=600/x
remaining 30 days 100 men worked so 30*100/x=3000/x
600/x+3000/x=1==>3600/x=1==>x=3600
3600 men complete the work in one day
for 60 men 40 days work is 60*40/3600=2/3
remaining work is 1-2/3=1/3
40 days 2/3
?days 1/3
by solving we get 20 days
