let the sum of money =x
rakhi give one third to john =x/3 and reamining sum =2x/3
john gives one third to malika = 1/3*x/3 =x/9
malika gives one third of her to rakhi = 1/3*x/9 =x/27
So john received 36 Rs from rakhi
x/3=36
x=108
total money rakhi has in hand = remaining sum + one third money given by malik a
2x/3+ x/27
2*108/3 + 108/27
