Let the number of passengers in bus stop A=x
At B, x-x/3+18
At c. 2x/3 + 18 - 3/4(2x/3 + 18) + 12 =25;
solve to get x=51.

total number of passengers=x
at stoppage b 1/3rd left so remaining passengers in the bus=2/3of x + 18 new
at stoppage c 3/4th of the passengers left so the remaining passengers= 1/4of(2/3 of x +18) +12 new, which is equal to 25
so on solving for stoppage c, we get x=51

after leaving Stop A: let initial number of passengers be=x
at Stop B: x-x/3=2x/3 (Remaining) and also 18 came in so total=(2x/3)+18=(2x+54)/3
at Stop C: 3/4 of (2x+54)/3 get out, so remaining=(2x+54)/3-(2x+54)/3*3/4=(2x+54)/12. Now 12 passenger also get in so (2x+54)/12+12.
now it is given that total passenger bus are 25 so (2x+54)/12+12=25.
hence x=51 passengers were there in bus when it left Stop A.

Bus carries x people at A
1. x-1/3x + 18 = 2/3x + 18 at B
2. 2/3x-3/4x +18 + 12 = 25 at C
So, -x/12 = 25-30
thus, x/12 = 5
no of people at A = 12*5=60

at stop B=X-(1/3)X+18
at stop C,the passengers,Y=(1/4)(2/3X + 18)
Y+12=25
by solving this,X=54

= (2x/3)+18

@ stop C

no: of passengers= (2x/3)+18-(3((2x/3)+18)/4)+12=25
Therefore x=17

Hence, no: of passengers at stop A= 17
