Always remember when 3 dice are rolled the number of ways of getting n ( where n is the sum of faces on dice)
= (n−1)C2 where n = 3 to 8
= 25 where n = 9, 12
= 27 where n = 10, 11
= (20−n)C2 where n = 13 to 18
The required probability = 27/6^3 = 27/216

Total possibilities = 6*6*6

Now events where sum of three = 10 are :-

1 3 6 ------ 6 possibilities
1 4 5 ------ 6 possibilities
2 2 6 ------ 3 possibilities
2 3 5 ------ 6 possibilities
2 4 4 ------ 3 possibilities
3 3 4 ------ 3 possibilities

hence probability = 27/216
