It is not the mirror image, if we consider it as mirror image then the series is like J,J,M,M,S then the next letter be S. Coming to the answer the letters are in the given series are the first letters of the months JAN, MAR, MAY, JULY, SEP if we observe this order correctly these are alternate months so the next month in this order is NOV, so the answer must be N for this order.
