We have to use addition formula n(A∪B) = n(A)+n(B)−n(A∩B)
20 = 15 + 10 - x
x = 5
So total shares given to only technical = 10 × 15 = 150
Shares given to only Recruitment = 5 × 10 = 50
Share given to Technical as well as recruitment people = 5 × 25 = 125
Total shares = 150 + 50 + 125 = 325.
Total value = 325 × 10 = 3250

as total 20 employees 15 in td & 10 in rd so 10 employees in td & 5 is common & 5 employee in rd.
so 10*15+5*25+5*10=325 shares.
325*$10=$3250

people of two tribes met one day. one tribe has 4365 people and another tribe has 1164 people. in the beginning they shake hands of their own tribemates and after the meeting each of them shake hands with each member of opposite tribe. what is the total no of hand shakes?

At the begining of the meeting handshakes are: (4365*4364)/2 + (1163*1164)/2
After the meeting No. of handshakes are: 4365*1164

dr r 15 employee in tech div and 10 in rec div and total of 20 employee in dat company.
hence using ven diagram dr are 10 employee who belongs to only tech div and dr r 5 employee who belongs to recruitment div and a total of 5 employeee who belong to both division .
according to question 15 shr r gvn to tech div emp and 10 shr r given to emp belongs to rec div and 25 shr is given who belong to both hence total no of shr=10*15+5*10+25*5=325

=>cost of total shr =325*10=3250.
