Given, a= (√5+1)/ (√5-1) = ((√5+1)/ (√5-1))*((√5+1)/ (√5+1)) = (3+√5)/2
And b= (√5-1)/ (√5+1) = ((√5-1)/ (√5+1))*((√5-1)/ (√5-1)) =( 3-√5)/2
(a^2+ab+b^2)/ (a^2-ab+b^2) =((a+b)^2-ab)/ (a+b)^2+ab)= (((3+√5)/2)+(3-√5)/2)^2)-1)/ ((3+√5)/2)+(3-√5)/2)√5)/2)^2)+1)=(9-1)/(3+1)= 8/4=2

all answers submitted are wrong till now. this is the correct one.

a= (√5+1)/ (√5-1) = ((√5+1)/ (√5-1))*((√5+1)/ (√5+1)) = (3+√5)/2
And b= (√5-1)/ (√5+1) = ((√5-1)/ (√5+1))*((√5-1)/ (√5-1) =( 3-√5)/2 (a^2+ab+b^2)/ (a^2-ab+b^2) =((a+b)^2-ab)/ (a-b)^2+ab) =(((3+√5)/2)+(3-√5)/2)^2)-1)/ ((3+√5)/2)-(3-√5)/2))^2)+1) =(9-1)/(5+1)=8/6=4/3
