m-5=3(a-5)......eq1
After 5 years
m+5=2(a+5)....eq2
By solving 1&2
a=15
So ashu age is 15 years

ashu' mother age=3x
after 5 years
2(x+10)=(3x+10)
x=10
present age of ashu=x+5=10+5=15

5 years ago ashu age=x-5 mother= y-5
according to statement y-5=3(x-5) -----------(1)
after 5 years ashu age=x+5 mother age=y+5
according to statement y+5=2(x=5) ---------(2)
soving beqn (1) and (2)
x=15 yrs
y=35 yrs

==>x-5=3(y-5) {5 years ago .....three times old}
==>x-5=3y-15-->1
==>x+5=2(y+5) {after 5 years......twice old}
==>x+5=2y+10-->2

multiply eq--1 with 2 and eq --2 with 3
3x+15=6y+30
2x-10=6y-30
(-) (+) (-) (+)

x+25=60
x=60-25
x=35

so answer is 35

today is x+5=10years

5yrs ago ashu's mother age=3x
And
After 5 yrs age of Ashu is 2(X+5) and ashu's mother age is 3x+5
2(X+5)=3x+5
2x+10=3x+5
10-5=3x-2x
X=5
And now age of Ashu now is 2(X+5)
2(5+5)
20
So now age of Ashu is 20 yrs
