C.P of 1 Lt of water =Rs.0
C.p Of 1 lt of Milk= Rs.20
So,
o(Cheaper) 20(Dearer)

16(Mixture)

4 : 16
(Dearer-Mixture) (Mixture-Cheaper)
so,

4:16=1:4

cost of 10L milk =10*20=Rs.200
cost of 1L milk after mixing water=Rs.16
Mixture of Milk & Water=200/16=12.5L
So Amount Of Water Mixed= 12.5-10=2.5L
Given, Ratio Of WATER to added to MILK= 2.5:10 = 1:4
For Every 4L of Milk We should Add 1L of Water

total amount of 5 liters of mixture=5*16=80
total amount of milk in the mixture=4*20=80

correct ans is 1:4

cost of 10 ltrs of milk =10*20=200rs
cost of 1 lter mixture =16rs
required mixer ( water+milk) say as X
here no loss or profit
so X*16=200
X=200/16=12.5lters so water is 2.5 ltrs
ratio of milk and water= 10:2.5=4:1

10 lit milk cost 20 Rs
For 1Rs, Milk = 1/2 lit
For 16Rs, Milk = (1/2)*16 = 8 lit (Milk)
Total quantity should be 10 litres.
so 10 - 8 = 2 lit ( water have to add)
Now ratio = 2(water) : 8(Milk) = 1:4 -Ans
