cp = 20 , mp = 30 , sp = x
%P = (x-20)/20 , %D = (30-x)/30
since ,
%P/%D = 2/3 = > x-20 = 30-x so, x =25
so, d = 5
%D = 5/30 *100 = 16.66 %

MP=CP { 100 +/- p %)/(100 +/- d% )}
Add when there is profit in % and for "d" subtract when there is discount in %
where p-->profit %
and d--->discount %
so using it MP/CP=(100+p)/(100-d)
mind it that in Question Cp/Mp is given
So,Mp/Cp=3/2
also it is given that p/d=3/2
so d=2*p/3
put it in original solution
and p=25%

Let us assume C.P=20, M.P=30 ,S.P=X (Since C.P:M.P=2:3)
Also given,
Profit%:discount%=3:2
=>(X-20/20)*100:(30-X/30)*100=3:2
=> X-20=30-X
=>X=25(S.P)
therefore, Profit %=(5/20)*100=25%

let price be 100, then cp=40,mp=60,sp=x
by discount formula we get d=(300-5x)/3....(1)
by profit formula ,converting into discount,we get d=(5x-200)/3..(2)
equating 1 & 2 we get ,x=50 then p=25%

Cp:mp=2X:3X
Profit =X
%profit:%discount=3:2
Let cp= 200, Sp= 300

But ;
3X/100 x 200+2X/100 x 300= 100
X= 8.33%
Discount 2X= 2x8.33%
=16.66% ans....
