Best Answer: I am typing the difference between the numbers and also if the difference is added or subtracted.
.-2, +3 ,-5 ,+7 ,-11 ,+13 ,-17 ,+19 ,-23 ,+ 29
I found the pattern...it is prime numbers. The difference is prime numbers and you alternate adding and subtracting them. We left off at 36, now we have to subtract 31 (the next prime number), and we subtract because we left off at addition and it is alternating. So, 36 - 31 = 5. And for the number after that, we add 37 (the next prime number) 5 + 37 = 42 and then 42 - 41 = 1.....and so on.
So your number line goes...23,21,24,19,26,15,28,11,30,7,36,5...
You can use this prime number chart to figure out what you add or subtract next...
