Ans: 8/25
consider the value of cake=100
sheela ate 3/5 of cake(i.e) 3/5*100=60 percent of cake she would ate
in remaining 40%, she give 1/5th so 1/5*40 =8%she will give to her friend
therefore 32%(40-8) she will have remaining 32/100=8/25

She ate 3/5 of cake, so she left with 2/5 th of cake...
She gave 1/5 th of remaining cake.., so she left with 4/5 th of remaining cake...
So ans is 2/5*4/5=8/25

Sheela ate 3/5th of a cake
remaining cake=1-3/5=2/5
She gave 1/5th of the remaining cake to her friend
i.e. she gave 2/5*1/5=2/25 part of cake
so remaining cake=2/5-2/25=8/25
so ans=8/25

She ate 3/5th . So out 5 parts she is left with 2/5 ie 1-(3/5)=2/5. And then she gave 1/5th of the remaining ie 2/5-1/5=1/5.
Thus she is left with 1/5th of the cake.

remaining cake=2/5
cake given to friend=1/5 of remaining cake
=1/5x 2/5

cake remaining with her=1-[3/5+2/25]
