let US contribution be=U
Japan contribution be=J
so, U+J=22
After 10 years, US contribution, 3U
Japan contibution, 4J
if, 10 years agao, U=12 & J=10 as U>J
afer 10 years US contribution=3*12=36
Japan contibution, 4*10=40.
this is the minimum possible contribution of japan.
