If we remove the remainder from number, 5678-35 = 5643
5643 should be divisible by 460, means the unit digit must be 0 if we add any number from options.
The only number 797 can give the unit digit 0, So my answer is 797.

(5678+x+35) i.e (5713+x) must be perfectly divisible by 460. In option we have only one number that ends with 7 so that divided by 460 .

Because, in the number 5678 have the last digit is 8 and the divider is 460 is an multiplication of 10. and the remainder is 35 is an multiple of 5. Which numbers last digit is added to the last number of 8 with the given option to produce multiple of 5 that is the answer of the question. so ans is 797

Dividend = divisor * quotient + remainder
5678 = 460 * 12 + 158

Here 158 is the remainder. We need the remainder to be 35 by adding a number.
Let the number be added be x

So (5678 + x) = 460 * 14 + 35 (here 35 is remainder)
=> 5678 + x - 35 = 460 * 14
=> 5643 + x = 460 * 14
=> x = 460 * 14 - 5643
=> x = 797

Using option elimination method
158+ 797 gives 955
955/460 gives remainder 35 ie., 460*2 gives 920.955-920 is 35

Answer is 797
