By logically if...we preserve {(1/w) and (1/y)} and loosing the value of {(1/x) and (1/z)} then only we get max values.

(1/w) and (1/y) will give max value iff w = y = 1;

so, (1/1) - (1/greatest value of x) + (1/1) - (1/greatest value of z)
=> 1 - 0 (tends to 0) + 1 - 0 (tends to 0);
=2-0
=2
