x-y=25------->(1)
x-9=6*(y-9)------->(2)
x-9=6y-54
=> x-6y=-45---->(3)
from eqns 1 and 3
x=39 and y=14

A/q, (X+25)-9=6(X-9)
Solving the eqaution x=14 whicjh is theage of younger
elder=25+14=39

Diff is 25 and elder age is 6times age of younger .

9 years ago x+25-9=6(x-9)

Older one age is 39

let us assume the current age of elder one is A
given the current age difference is 25 so,the present age of younger is A-25
before 9 years elders age=A-9
9 years before younger age=A-25-9=A-34
A-9=6A-204
A=39
the sum their current ages=39+39-25=53

let two persons be x and y
x is elder and y is younger
so x-y=25 (difference of age between two people will be same throughout)
9 years before x=6y
hence 6y-y=25
5y=25
y=5
x-y=25
x=25+5=30
therefore 9 years before age of x and y is 30 and 5
current age of x=9+30=39
current age of y=9+5=14
sum of current age is 39+14=53

solving eq1 and eq2,we get
y=14 and x=39

Let x and y be two persons. Let x be elder one and y be younger one.
Current age diff = x-y = 25--- 1
(x-9)=6(y-9)
x-9 = 6y-54
6y-x=45 ---2
solving 1 and 2 we get,
y=14
subs y=14 in 1
x= 39
therefore, sum = x+y= 14+39 = 53

YOUNGER ONE AGE: 5
CURRENT AGE: 36 & 11 SO DIFFERENCE IS 25..... AND SUM IS 47.... 47 IS ANSWER....

FROM SOLVING ABOVE EQUATIONS we get,
y = 13, x = 38.
sum x+y = 51

so equation will be
x - y = 23 ---------(i)
and before 9 yrs
x - 9 = 6 ( y - 9 ) -------(ii)
after solving both the equations,
y = 14 and
X = 39 .
