let the speed of A is x kmph
A and B are travelling in same direction so their relative speed is subtraction of two speeds
we know that,
time=distance/relative speed
1/60=1.5/x-55
By solving above equation we get x as 145kmph

b's speed=distance/time;
=1.5*60=90km/h.
90+55=145.

let x be the speed of B
since, meeting time = total distance/relative speed
meeting time = 1/60 (convert min into hrs)
distance= 1.5km (given)
relative speed= x-55 (both are moving in the same direction)
therefore, 1/60 = 1.5/x-55
on solving the above equation we get x=145 i.e. speed of B 145kmph

B's speed=55km/hr.
Since A is crossing B Both are travelling in the same direction.
The distance between the is A----------1.5km------------B.
In 1 minute B will travel 11/12km.
Remaining 1-11/12km is travelled by A i.e., 7/12km
7/12km =1minute
7/12km=1/60hr
35km=1hr
i.e answer is 35km/hr
isn't it????
