I think answer is 15/13.
vol of oil is 5/8*28
vol of kerosene is 3/8*28
then 4 liters taken off and replace with kerosene
so vol of oil=5/8*24=15
vol of kerosene =3/8*24+4=13
so ratio of oil and kerosene is 15:13

given 28-litre solution contains oil and kerosene in the ratio 5:3

for one liter ( 0.625 of oil + 0.375 of kerosene )

for 4 liters = 4 ( 0.625 and 0.375 ) = 2.5 oil and 1.5 kerosene

now quantity of Oil = 5/8*28 = ( 0.625*28 ) = 17.5

now quantity of Kerosene = 3/8*28 = ( 0.375*28 ) = 10.5

now 4 liters mixture is replaced means

17.5-(2.5) + 10.5 - (1.5)= 15 + 9

4 literes is added to kerosene

9+4= 13 liters

so final quantity of oil and kerosene is 15:13

28-4=24 L
oil = 5/8*24=15L
then kerosene= 24-15 = 9 L

9+4=13 L kerosene

ratio = 15/13

Fq = 28(1-x/c)^1
Fq=28(1-4/28)^1
Fq=24
So the ratio is 5:3
5/8*24=15
3/8*24=9+4(acc to ques) so ans is 15:13
