(A+B+C)/3=500----A+B+C=1500

(1500+D)/4=450----1500+D=1800-----D=300

D=300 AND E=300+60

(B+C+(D+E=660))/4=500

B+C=1340

(A+1340)/3=500

A=160


HENCE OPTION B IS CORRECT

Ans is 160gm
let weight of A,B and C respectively be a,b and cgm
their average weight given is 500gm
thus,a+b+c=1500-eq(1)
also,after D is added avg weith becomes 450gm
let weight of D be d
thus total weight=
a+b+c+d=450*4=1800-eqn(2)
now from (1)
d=300
also
after E is added average of B,C,D and E becomes 500gm
let weight of E be e
also given e=d+60
thus,b+c+d+e=2000-eqn(3)
on solving,
1500-a+300+300+60=2000
a=160gm
