Total area of logo = area of sq.
= 196 = 14²
so, side of sq. is 14 cm, therefore radius of circle = 14/2
= 7cm
area of circle = 22/7 * 7²
=154 cm²
area of shaded region = area of aq. - area of circle
= 196 - 154
= 42 cm²
ratio :
area of shaded region/area of logo (area of sq.)
=42/196
=3/14

Area of shaded area=(area of square-area of circle)+area of sector
=(196-22/7*7*7)+LR/2
=42+19.25
=61.25

area of the shaded portion = Area of square -Area of Circle
therefore
area of Circle = π r²
here radius=7
22/7*(49)=154
196-154=42
42 is the answer

Area of the square =196
Area of the circle =154
Area of the sector=19.25
shaded areas=area outside the circle+area of the sector
so,(196-154)+19.24 =61.25
fraction of shaded region to the area of logo ie,196 = 61.25/196
my answer is 0.3125
