1 digit no.=9
2 digit no.=90*2=180
3 digit no.= 900*3=2700
total digits=2889
digits after adding 1000's digits=2889+4=2893
digits left=28383-2893=25890
on deviding by 4
we have 6472 and raminder 2
so digit is =
2nd digit of 7472
option (2)=4 is solution

Single digit => 1 to 9 = 9 numbers
Two digit nos => 10 to 99 = 90 numbers
3 - digit nos => 100 to 999 => 900 numbers

=> Number of digits/terms from 1 to 999 = 9 + (90*2) + (900*3)= 2889 digits

From 1000 , each number adds 4 digits
2889 + 4x = 28381
x = 6373

=> 6373 numbers are considered after 999

(6373 - 999) = 5374
=> 4 is the 28381st digit

therefore 28383rd term = 5375 => 3
