let initial cost = 10 Rs ,
number of visitors = 100
=> initial daily money receipts = 100 x 10 = 1000 Rs

after increasing,
cost of each = 12 Rs
number of visitors = 90
=> daily receipt = 1080

% increase in receipt = (1080 - 1000) x 100 / 1000 = 8%

for decriease -ve value
%incriease = x+y+(x*y)/100
= 20+(-10)+(20*(-10))/100
= 20-10-2
= 8%

AS entry ticket increased by 20%.So total ticket = 120%
and
number of visitors is reduced by 10%. So total visitors = 90%
Now, we have to find daily money for 90% visitors for entry ticket 120%.
S0,
=90% of 120= 90/100(120)=108%
so total incresed in money =108%-100%=8%
