If the total income=x
Expenditure on House Rent=0.25x ,Food=0.45x, So on (rent+food)=0.7x
and balance =0.3x, Given 40% of balance on Conveyance=0.3x*0.4=0.12x
Total(House Rent+Food+Conveyance)=0.25x+0.45x+0.12x=0.82x
Now income left=x-0.82x=0.18x=540, so x= 540/0.18 =3000 Rs.

70% is spent on HR and food.
40% of balance 30% on conveyance and 60% of balance 30% is left after conveyance charges.

If x is TOTAL income, then
x*0.3*0.6= 540
x = 540/0.18 = Rs 3000

100-(25+45+((30/100*40))=18%
18%=540
1%=30
100%=3000

If x is income, then
x*0.2*0.6= 540
x = 540/0.12 = Rs 4500

45+25=70%.then 100-70=30.therefore 540/(30%*40%)=4500

income on house =25%......................remaining income=75%
income on rent =45% of 75%.........remaining income =33.75%
income on conveyance =40% of 33.75%....remaining income=13.50%
13.50%---------->540 then
100%------------>?
100*540/13.50=4000

45%+25%=70%
REMAINING 30%
40% OF 30% SPENT
REMAINS 60%
SO,
60/100*30/100 OF x = 540

on solving answer is 3000.
