Answer is 5

8*1024 = 1000*10000000000 (the product will contain 1 one's)
3*64 = 11*1000000 (the product will contain 2 one's)
3 = 11 (contain 2 one's)

Thus, the answer will contain 5

To check:
if you add them, the sum will be
10000000000000 + 11000000 + 11 = 10000011000011

the answer contains 5 one's

To verify:
8 * 1024 + 3 * 64 + 3 = 8387
8387 in binary is 10000011000011
