volume of small cube = 10 cubic cm
volume of the cuboid made = 10*5*5 = 250 cubic cm
no. of cubes already cut = 25
to make it a perfect cube we need side of the cube to be 10 cm as the longest side of the cuboid is 10 cm
volume of the required cube = 10*10*10 = 1000 cubic cm
no. of smaller cubes to make a perfect cube = 100
required no. of cubes that needed to be cut = 100-25
